"room was fair size and clean, bar was nice but possibly a bit small, staff were friendly and helpful" (107183314)
staff were very friendly and helpful
not much car parking space, the disabled spaces were taken by non badge holders and cars were parked outside exits!

"Excellent hotel and good location for what we wanted but having to pay extra for breakfast and parking on top of high price charged for room made a one night stay very expensive." (97407536)

"Generally we were pleased with our trip to Manchester." (108055323)
The above question doesn`t specify if you`re asking about this particular hotel or about all hotels I had stayed in during this year. I marked this hotel only. The hotel is new and clean. Receptionsts were very nice and helpful. Our room and bathroom were very clean and well maintained. There is a good transportation to the centre of Manchester by a tramway. It`s mutch worse with buses.
In order to get a newspaper one has to go to the reception, downstairs. We would not recommend the hotel`s restaurant. Breakfast and dinner selection is very poor. Though food was not bad, but portions are for the small children and the prices are high. The telephone in the room was not working properly. It was connecting the reception only. There was no chance to call outside of the hotel. I discussed this with the reception, but somewhow the problem was not solved. The receptionist was willing to give us another room, but I didn`t want to change the rooms.

"Despite an upsetting time for me personally, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay." (97745248)
Very welcoming staff that were helpful and efficent. I had my wallet stolen somewhere from the hotel to an event I was attending at Manchester United Ground, and I was very distraught, however, the staff were very helpful and comforting in my distress...Thank you

"Good, we weren't there long enough to comment on the resturant but the room and staff were good." (107102036)
Hotel was excellent and good value for money.
When i booked the hotel I spelt my surname to the person booking it several times, this was still spelt wrong and therefore the email did not arrive, I had to chase this up and re-spell the surname again. When iwe arrived the hotel had me down as MISS when i stated (again several times) I am a MRS.

"Ok hotel. Nice rooms, but nothing really special. Not worth the premium in my view." (108079126)
Very nice room, big LCD screen, nice comfy bed and clean modern decor. Oh and the shower was excellent!
Food was ok, but over-priced at that standard. There was no free WiFi in the rooms as advertised here. It was £8.00 to use the wired internet connection! Silly prices to watch movies, use internet, think, breath.. anything the CAN charge you for, they will. It just annoys me when you are paying top dollar already for a room.

Hotel only been open three weeks.... it was lovely. The rooms are brilliant and the decor is excellent.
The menu in the restuarant is terrible for such a big hotel. Also the bar man did not know how to make cocktails. It cost seven pounds for a cocktail... that was some sort of mess he'd made up!! Also customer service is not forthcoming.

Booked this Hotel for an event at Old Trafford, was only 10 minute walk away and is also central for metro link for travelling to Trafford Centre. Would definately use this hotel again.
